Educational Requirements ( शैक्षिक आवश्यकता ) : First class B. Tech in Civil Engineering and PG degree in Environmental Engineering, Hydraulics and Water Resources Engineering, Applied Geology, Environmental Science or related major with a minimum 65% marks and must have qualified the applicable National Eligibility Test.

Desirable Qualifications ( वांछनीय योग्यता ) : Experience in setting-up saturated/unsaturated column experiments in lab and its associated data processing, Experience with independent handling of ICP, IC, and other analytical equipments, Expertise in using geochemical/transport models PHREEQC, Hydrus, SWAT and related.
