Directorate of Education, Government of Manipur, Imphal has invited applications for the recruitment of 489 Primary Teacher vacancies under Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA).

1. Application Process: – Eligible candidates can apply in prescribed application format on or before 27-06-2016 by 03:00 PM.

3. Age Limit:
Candidates age should be more than 38 years as on 11-05-2016.
*Note: – Upper age relaxation of 05 years for SC/ ST & 03 years for OBC & other candidates is applicable as per rules.
4. Educational Qualification:
1. Candidates should possess 10+2 or equivalent with at least 50% marks
and
2. Diploma in Elementary Education from recognized university/ institution/ board
and
3. pass in Teacher Eligibility Test conducted by State Government or any other agency approved by NCTE.
5. Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on academic scores & interview.
6. Application Fee: Candidates has to pay Rs. 500/- for Unreserved & OBC, Rs. 250/- for SC/ ST to be deposited in cash.
7. How to Apply: Eligible candidates who are sponsored by concerned employment exchange officer can send their application in prescribed format along with attested copies of relevant documents & attested photostat copies of all certificates & mark sheets regarding essential qualification & caste certificates to N.Praveen Singh, Director of Education (S) Manipur on or before 27-06-2016 by 03:00 PM.
