DRDO Recruitment 2019 

The DRDO was formed in 1958. Then the DRDO was a small organization with 10 establishments or laboratories. But in these years it has become multi directional in terms of variety of teaching subjects, laboratories, achievements and number of stature.

Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) works under the Department of Defense Research and Development Department.

Today, more than 50 laboratories of DRDO, which I have been engaged in developing the development of various defense technologies, such as aeronautics, armament, electronics, combat vehicles, system engineering, instrumentation, missile, advanced computing and simulation, special materials, naval systems , Life sciences, training, information systems and agriculture etc.

At present, the organization is supported by more than 5000 scientists and about 25,000 other scientists, technical and support personnel. Several major projects are for the development of missile, ordnance, light combat aircraft, radar, electronic warfare etc. and many important technologies have already been achieved.

(i) Interview & certificates: Date and time of walk-in-lnterview is on 15th March 2019 at 0930 hrs. certificates in original are to be produced in support of educational and age eligibility at the time of interview, (ii) cutoff Date: Age and Education qualification will be calculated as on 15th March 2019. Age Limit is relaxable by s years for sc/sr and 3 years for oBC candidates. (iii) Place of work & Tenure: Place of work is DRL Detachments at salari and rawang in Arunachal Pradesh Tenure of RA is 2 years only and that of Jr. Research Fellow is initially 2 years which is extendable as per Govt rules. Award of Associateship or Fellowship does not confer any right to absorption or employment in DRDO.
